But in the most recent weeks, I can thoroughly blame it on this:
My addiction. I will admit it. And I have my friend Shannon to thank for it. Every free moment I have is spent trying to squeeze in even a few sentences to quench my thirst (pun intended) for the most attention-grabbing horror/science fiction/love story I have ever read. This is the first time in a long while that I can remember being so engrossed in a book that everything around me seems to disappear. The author's incredible talent of description paints the characters in such a way that you feel as if you have known them your whole life.
I loved the first two books so much that I ordered my own complete series. I am waiting impatiently to be able to finish the last two books.
I know I have neglected my posts and I promise to spend more time keeping everyone updated on the latest happenings around here. Stay tuned.

You know, quite a few people I know are engrossed in this series....I just might have to take a peek at a page or two. But then I too might just disappear for awhile!
Oh wow. You just lost sister points.
Might I point out the covers:
(1) a girl holding an apple in cupped hands in front of a certain area of her body.
(2) an orchid in profile.
(3) a slinky red ribbon curving its way down the page.
(4) A bright white "king" standing straight in the middle with a smaller red "queen" in the background.
Paging Dr. Freud, Dr. Sigmund Freud? Can you please report to the Publisher's office?
(I'm actually defensive cause I read these religiously)
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!! YES YES YES!!! They are fantastic!!!!!! SOOO glad you're hooked. Now the dreaded wait...I know it so well. I had to borrow the last two because of my OCD (I started with paperbacks...I must have all of the paperbacks.) Sigh.
Eclipse was one of my favs...Can't wait for you to start it!
Ah ~ you are much better than I! By that I mean - you read books!
I had not ever heard of these books until 2 weeks ago - my aunt asked me if I would like to have the 'Twilight' series since she was done reading hers. I had never heard of them before and did not take them from her - instead I told her I don't read books. ( I can hear my mother cringe now. )
I do recall Tom's cousin being very excited telling me she and a girlfriend had just gone to see a movie called 'Twilight' twice in a row - about Vampires??? Is the movie from the book? Hmmm... If I start reading books I'll have to check these out!
Well, I have to chime in here, too. I cannot believe I'm reading these books! KT and Shannon both talked me into it - it's their fault! I'm almost finished with Book 1 and it is great! I'm reading well past my bedtime each night Ü Who's going to pass on the next fix to me? As for jr, I DARE him to read them!
